We left Bismarck on Monday Jan 17th. and made it the 1800 miles to Mesa. Route was a little longer because we looped down southern NM into AZ and back up through Tuscon to avoid weather/roads around Flagstaff (thanks for the advice, Tony and Mike). We arrived at our RV resort on Jan 20th
When we were about 3 days away from home our cameras back home caught sight of a squirrel which had somehow found its way into our house. So, we had to get the squirrel removal crew AKA “family” over there to catch the little speed demon. They were able to chase it out the garage door, but it made for some funny videos, and a couch that got a little chewed up. (Thank you, Cody, Ryan, Abby and squirrel dogs Chloe & Ollie.)
Now we are just getting acclimated to our new surroundings.
Did some hiking in the Superstition Mountains at Lost Dutchman State Park
Attended the Barrett Jackson Car Sale at Westworld in Scottsdale
Got some Sun! Temps around 68-73 Degrees, but the sun feels powerful here
